Qualifications of CFA Fitness Coaches:

  • Minimum of 75 practical hours to learn specific material
  • Minimum of 25 walk through hours of watching clients train
  • Continue their education with specific literature and informational videos
  • “Practice what they preach.”  All trainers will be fit and healthy to show the example to their clients.
  • Working on or have a college degree in a health related field
  • Demonstrates qualities of communication, organization, time management and punctuality.
  • Motivates and inspires clientele and is an honorable member in the community.

 

Justin Levine
Owner, Head Trainer ; Justin has worked with clients from all walks of life. From professional athletes to the general fitness population, his unique approach is to increase an individual's vitality of life through corrective exercise and nutrition prescription. Justin earned a football scholarship to New Mexico Highlands University and received a Bachelor’s degree in Human Performance and Sport. He interned at Notre Dame University in South Bend, IN as the fitness/facilities manager. Justin played one year of arena football (AF2) before embarking in the profession of personal training and strength and conditioning. Justin is a professional member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and the National Academy Sports Medicine (NASM). He is also an active forum member and author at strengthcoach.com, a world renowned strength and conditioning educational site. Justin continues his education by attending national seminars, reading up to date material, and communicating with other top notch strength and conditioning coaches. He has also been a guest speaker at local high schools, businesses, and health fairs. Justin enjoys competing in triathlons, the outdoors, and hanging out with his wife and close friends and family. His extreme motivation shows with his vibrant personality and the way he lives his everyday life.

Zeke Jaramillo
Zeke has been involved in fitness for 15 years.  You can see his unique passion when he motivates his clients.  He truly cares for the people he trains and you can see what a difference he makes in each individual’s life.  In high school, Zeke was an elite cross country runner.  He had many athletic and academic accomplishments during his high school career.  Zeke excelled in the College of Sequoias Athletic Training department under the supervision of Dennis Goebel. He is currently a full time student in the Kinesiology department at Fresno State University.  Zeke is a solid fitness coach at CFA and he will continue to inspire the people he works with. 

Along with working out and training his clients, Zeke enjoys spending time with his wife Julia and his daughter Marissa.

“I love coming to work everyday.  It is a great thing knowing I get to change peoples’ lives for my profession.  I am committed to getting my clients in the best shape possible.  I will do what it takes to continue my education so I can give my clients the best information out there.”

 

Tisha Cotta
Tisha was born and raised in Visalia, CA.  She is certified through the American Council on Exercises (ACE).  She graduated from Golden West High school where she was a four year varsity member on the cross country and soccer teams.  Tisha was an All-American and team captain in both sports.  She earned a soccer scholarship to Humboldt State University, where she played for three years.  Tisha is currently in the process of finishing her degree in Kinesiology/Coaching.  She is the assistant soccer coach for the South Valley United soccer club and the Redwood High School Varsity team.  In her free time, Tisha enjoys giving private soccer lessons, working out, and spending time with her family. 

 

Omar Jalil
Omar was born and raised in Dinuba, CA.  He excelled in football and golf in high school.  He was the MVP in golf his senior year.  Omar has been apart of the College of Sequoias athletic training department for three years.  He will be pursuing his Kinesiology degree from Fresno State University.  Omar enjoys training for the sport of triathlon, lifting weights and hanging out with his friends.  He placed 1st in his age group at the Visalia Triathlon.  We call Omar the “silent assassin” at CFA because of his quiet demeanor but his outstanding training skills.  He gets his clients to perform the exercises with perfect technique.

 

Jacki Tuman
Jacki is a Lemoore, California native.  She was an outstanding high school athlete at Lemoore High School.  Jacki has continued her athletic career with the College of Sequoias Softball team.  She was apart of the central valley conference championship team in 2008.  She is the team captain on the 2009 team.  Not only is she a great softball player but Jacki presents herself in a very mature and confident manner.  She knows what it takes to train hard and be the best and she expects that from her clients.  Jacki is currently in the process of finishing her AA degree and will be majoring in Exercise Science at a four year university.  Besides working out, playing softball and training at CFA, Jacki enjoys being with her family and hanging out with her teammates.
